Remington Model 8 .30-30 Rem semi-auto $225!

Selling my Remington Model 8. For those not familiar, this is a John Browning design featuring a long-recoil semi-auto action and a fixed 5-rd magazine (incidentally this model is amongst the type of firearm used by Bonnie and Clyde and is one of the earliest production semi-auto rifles), it the same action as the rather famous Auto 5 shotgun. This particular one is 1907-dated I believe, not much of the original finish left but the rifle is in very solid shape, the bore is dark but has well-defined rifling; haven't had the chance to to fire it. Price is at $225 which is a ridiculously low price for one of these, go ahead, look it up! No trades at this time please. Location=Hillsboro

Is the model 8 a takedown like the model 81 is? You'd have to remove the front handguard to find out.
