WTS OR Remington Model 514 Single Shot 22

These were built between 1948 and 1970. This one has a really nice stock that someone has done a nice job of restoring. The barrel however appears to have been sprayed with varnish or liquid plastic or something along that line. The trigger guard is held in place with in-correct screws. It appears that "Bubba" may have spent some time with this one. The books show this valued between $80 and $180.
First one to speak up can have it for $65.

I still have the 514 Dad gave me in '64. Love that rifle. About the best boys single shot there is IMO although it's stocked a little big for a boy. That's ok, I grew into it. Many fond memories of packing it around on Grandpa's farm. Nice, simple, quality rifle.

This is a smooth bore shotshell only model? I see in pictures a front bead sight and no rear sight.
