Reminds me of the gun my father and I used to take shooting out in the woods.

Me too. Reminds me of the Winchester Model 61 Pump 22 my father turned me loose with on my uncles 1000 acres in Southern Oregon for a few days. Simple rules; Don't shoot my uncles stuff, be aware of where the bullet would go if I missed, If I shot an animal I better be able to kill it and if I killed it I better plan on eating it.
I shot a couple rabbits - they were pretty good. Shot one big squirrel - didn't enjoy it too much and never shot another one. Held my ground with the Mountain Lion and Bobcats (No shots fired), gave a WIDE berth to the Black Bear. Fun times!
