I have for sale a Remington Model 11R 12 gauge Military Riot Shotgun. (Please excuse my greasy finger prints in the pics :-D )
The serial number is 706486 (1940, verified by Remington)
20" barrel with Cutts compensator

U.S. and Flaming Bomb markings stamps on barrel and receiver.
Military Finish stamped on receiver.
Wood grain on forehand and stock match each other
The wood looks to have been refinished :-(

I have gotten some feedback concerning this shotgun (Thank You !!!). Its still a cool piece but its not 100% in factory condition for collectors. Sorry.

I am adjusting the price accordingly. I wont take less than posted price. I will keep it if I get no offers.

I have no history or cool story about this shotgun except that it is a beautiful gun in great condition.

$950.00 New Price $750 $500 $450

Heard a few stories about these, fbi used them in early years, prisons used them, but they may just be stories. But still a cool shotgun, John Browning hit a home run with this one.

A lot of the Remington 11R guns were used to train gunners on bombers, they would put them in the back of a truck and drive as clays were launched for them to shoot down. Considering that this one has a 20 inch barrel it was in likely hood probably used for riot control, none of the Remington Model 11 guns were ever used in combat though.

I have the same one, except with a slightly shorter barrel. I love it. The last thing in the world that a burglar wants to hear is that bolt slamming forward.

howdy ho neighbor, any one home? Is this fine tool still available? I get a bit concerned about ads that die on the vine, hoping that it isn't the lister who has disappeared. People disappearing happens much to frequently.

I am still a member. I have just moved away from the Northwest. I still have the shotgun. Are you interested ?

Yes, I am interested in your shotgun. Good to hear you haven't fallen from the vine. I was looking at the age of the messages.
Your images are very good I'd say. I am thinking of pulling the commitment trigger but I have more questions.
I'll send a PM.
