Oh man I have a Dremel tool just itching to bubba up an ejection port...but no need to do it on yours... I save it for special circumstances!

But in a SHTF situation it would be a bummer to only have access to 3" and have no way to shoot it.
The ability to shoot either could be an advantage.
I had an offer to trade my 3" Express straight across for a beautiful 2-3/4" Wingmaster and had 2nd thoughts.Good point.
they are the same except the ejector......Get hold of a 3" 870 and measure the receiver length, bolt travel, cartridge lift, mag tube length, ejector port
