Remington 870 special
My original goal was to do a form 1 SBS (10" 870) some how I ended up with 2. I did SBS the other one.
What makes a special different from other 870 is it only holds 3 shell vs the normal 4 shell. In turn the forend is shorter. it came with a strait English style stock and a 21 barrel. Great for upland game
Finish is really good, 98% or better, some light wear
Barrel is 21" ribbed rem-choks with 2 bead sights
I have replaced and refinish the stock with a vintage walnut set. The forend has been cut down 1-3/4". A limbsave recoil pad has been fitted. A dome safety has been added. Sling studs have been added.
