Title says it, the wife wants a deer rifle.. I am not going to say no to that, she is showing interest so I better jump on it, and if she loses interest then I get a new gun haha!
That all said I have a Rem 700 30.06 which I LOVE, but for her I would like a Rem 700 but in stainless and I need to have my gun painted because its starting to show wear...
I dont want to spend to much because these pop up at Walmart every couple weeks around here and they seem to be half the price as what they sell for at gun shops. Right now they only have a .223 in stainless...
As for caliber, she just wants something with low recoil and is cheap to shoot for target particle. I do not know alot about other available rounds as I have just been a fan of 30.06, .300 and .308..
