Yes, it has a 26" barrel, I'm not the original owner. The rifle works perfectly.

By the oicture it looks as though the scope has been sliding under recoil. The scope finish is scuffed, could you tell me how this happened?

The scuffs on the scope are from sliding the scope to position it, while the rings were too tight.
