Remington 700 ADL to BDL

I am converting a Remington 700 ADL to a BDL. I think the magazine box is shorter on a BDL. I have the hinged floor plate assy but it doesn't fit right. It looks like the ADL box is too long. Any info on this conversion is welcomed. Thanks
