I have a remington model 722 in 22-250 caliber. Barrel is clear with no rust and bore is in excellent condition as well. overall the rifle is in good condition for its age. Asking $450 O.B.O!!

I don't believe that they made a 722 in 22-250? was it rebarreled with a model 700 barrel or bored out from a 222 Remington?

I'm not sure. it says "model 722" on the rifle and it is also stamped with 22 250 on the barrel .

The model 722 was made 1948 - 1962
Remington introduced the 22-250 as a commercial cartridge in 1965

That receiver has had a barrel fitted to it!! Remington 722 did not come from the factory chambered in a 22-250

Well thar may be as I'm not an expert on this subject . Maybe I should redo the thread as a custom built remington model 722 in 22 250 caliber?

I don't think you have to redo your post you might edit the content to say it's not factory original but you never claimed that it was either. There is a difference between that and trying to pass it off as something it's not

Well I'm just going to leave it as is. I have doubt that it will sell. it's a good shooter with alot of potential.
