Remington 1187 magazine

I would like to use my 1187 for some pratical rifle competition.
But I need to be able to use 5 -6 shells

Any one have a recommnedation on the best option to extend the existing magazine up to 5-6 shells ( May be I am saying 4+1 or 5+1)

Just take the plug out and use 2 3/4" shells.

Nope, just take the plug out and you are good to go.

Thanks looked on line and found a You tube on it.

To add an extension (~ $60)- you have the cost of the extension and spring + You have to flatten the dimples - which takes a tool that cost $60. Then a magazine extension support.
I was almost thinking it was cheaper just to buy a different gun that to go theough that process.
