IMHO, never a better semi-auto shotgun made. I like them older like from the 70's because the wood is a nicer grade and they are hand checkered. (Forgive me if they are still hand checkered but I saw a new one that looked pressed to me.) I also observe that they had a nicer polish and bluing job back then.

Last year I picked up a mint one from the earlier 70's and put a new 22" fully rifled barrel on it with rifle sights for shooting sabot slugs. It's a really sweet 2 3/4" gun. They are so very easy to change barrels on that it could actually be dual purpose for birds too.
