Hey Guys, So I currently have a Remington 1100 Magnum model. I would like to put on a 2 3/4 26" barrel to shoot trap! I was looking at Model # r4466 Remington Barrel. Will this one work on the shotgun and allow me to shoot 2 3/4 shells??
3" chamber shooting 2 3/4" shells will be like shooting a high end trap gun with elongated forcing cone.
Personally, I would prefer a longer barrel in the 30 to 32" range.
I used to shot a LOT of registered targets and the 1100 was my favorite.
Thanks for the replies fellas, and Mark I know I can shoot 2 3/4 inch shells out of it. The only problem is it doesnt want to eject light loads, I think cause the gas system is different with the designated 3 inch barrel vs the 2 3/4. Which is why I was wondering if they were interchangeable! Want to make my 1100 magnum more versatile.
