Remington 1100 18" Barrel

I have a very nice 1100 duck gun that my dad gave me, I don't bird hunt, so I'm wanting to put a short (18") barrel on it, so I can use it for HD. I know the gas ports in the police 11-87/1100s are bigger, to make them cycle, so I don't want to buy a long barrel and chop it off. Any ideas on where to get one? Even a 20" is fine. I'd like a blued one, so it matches.

There is a 21" rifle sighted (deer) barrel available that comes with 3 chokes for under $200. The Rem # is 29565.

There is also the 22" vent-ribbed barrel from the 1100 "TAC4" model... for around $230. Rem # F240508.



This barrel seems to be popular with the 3-gun crowd.

I think that's the one I have- it works great even on field loads (7-1/2 shot) if you so desire... no jams even when using cheap reloads as fast as I can pull the trigger... it's awful for clay pigeons now though!
