Dude obviously does not shoot things like 30-06 30-40Krag .30M1 .44spl. or anyone of dozens of less common calibers that reloading if not the only way to get ammo is a way to get ammo for less then 1/2 the cost.

On 30-40Krag I save between .90 and 1.10 a round by reloading. And if I bought factory I would only be able to chose from 2-3 loads and then would be lucky to find 2-3 boxes in this part of the state.

Instead I can load anything from 110gr to 220gr and at any speed I want.

I have to ask when I see folks leaving it behind. Even before I started reloading I would turn around the brass for cash.

For a while I even brought a magnetic broom. Collected steel. After 8 homer buckets full and only getting 30 bucks at the scrap yard I gave that up.
