I was at the gun range today and some said that you can load the steel 223 casings as long you put them in a tumbler and take the lacquer off. Does anyone know anything about that?

Thanks. Very interesting. I guess I will try to reload some. Another thing I have been told that steel casing ammo will jam a lot easier. Is this true?

    Use case lube generously.

I saw an article on reloading steel cased 7.62x39. I wouldn't bother due to effort and extra wear on trimmer and dies.
