Having my own reference library has been a big help over the years.
A good reference book can save you money over time.
Or time since you can learn what to look for...

And while I do enjoy reading about old guns and researching them for myself and others , I thought I'd throw out a book list of the ones I use the most.

Note this in not "a end all be all" complete list of books.
There are many good gun books out there that I do not have.
Also please note that some of the books are out of print ... But just 'cause a book is old does not mean that the information contained inside is worthless.

Also yes I know , if you were to add up the cost of my library , I'd have the money for a fine gun or two.
But a good book makes a good friend.
And I wouldn't sell my friends...
