recycling the plastic from ammo boxes

Is there anything that can be done with the plastic holders from ammo boxes? Are they useful to anyone? It seems a waste just to dump these in the trash. Im up to about 50 of these now.

They are recyclable. Waste Management accepts them with all the other plastics.

A use i have for them, is as trays to put reloaded ammunition into as part of my inspection process.

I have a big box, that my reloads drop into as they come off of the progressive presses. Then i inspect each round as i place them into the trays in your photograph. Once into the trays, i can look at the primers and COAL, a second time, to make double sure everything is as it should be.

Then, i put the loaded rounds into storage containers.

That is what i use them for.

As stated above, reload. If you don't then give them to someone that does, they can never have enough.

There are many companies like Replas who recycle this plastics to make some useful items like Decking,Post,Boardwalk,Fence.You can contact them for more details.

We use them all the time for reloaded ammo. I actually do trash dives to get them at the range.
