Recommendations for a red dot for mini 14?

I've bought cheapies off Ebay that work just fine. <$50..... or you can spend a lot more. But IMO since .223 is low recoil I don't see why a cheapie would not work.

Sig romeo 5's work well for me on AR's, a Fal and a caa micro roni setup.

I run a Holosun 403C on my Mini 14, on an UltiMAK rail. Works great, even at longer range, my shooting buddy and I were using it to tag a rock about the size of a 5 gal. bucket at 390 yards according to his range finder. Only other mods to mine are a smaller gas bushing and an extra power recoil spring. It's a 181 series, and set up the way I have it, is a consistent 2 MOA or better rifle. Only complaint with the Holosun is a tendency to eat batteries, which isn't supposed to happen, guess I need to contact Holosun and test their CS
