Recommendations for 12 gauge riot gun?

Looking for a 12 gauge riot gun says it all,..

I love my semi-autos, a 1301, a tricked out 930 SPX. Saigas are cool, so are M4's,...

But for sheer reliability, affordability, and ease of use, a pump is the only way to go if someone could only have one "Riot Gun."

Pick an 870, (avoid an Express if it was built shortly before Remington's demise) or any of the 500 series Mossberg line-up and you will be set.

Me personally, I cannot due without all of my shotguns!

I backed into this knowledge. I bought an over/under for my grandson that had been "tamed down" with the tubes and pad. It's the softest shooting 12 gauge I've ever handled. Down to about what a 20 gauge is like.
