Very nice! Thank you. I bake bread fairly regularly...nothing much better than fresh baked bread and a big slab of butter.

I made this tonight. Awesome recipe, very easy even for someone (like myself) who has never tried making yeast breads before. I have years of quick bread experience (biscuits, cornbread, soda bread, johnny cakes, etc.), so I figured that I had better start advancing my craft, whether for fun, food or general preparedness. Gonna make grilled cheese and tomato soup tomorrow.

    UPDATE:
Sliced some of this bread, some Tillamook medium cheddar, a little butter in a cast iron skillet, and soon had the most delicious grilled cheese sandwiches I have ever made. Going to bake some more to try it out on grilled PB&J...
