So how does this affect the Supreme court cases that are deciding states rights to infringe on the 2nd ammendment (I think it is the Chicago case that I was reading about a couple weeks ago). If the supreme court is striking down the ability of states to forbid gun ownership, but then some states are fighting saying that the fed has no say, then doesn't that free some states to then decide their own gun laws within that state (including not allowing them at all)? It's confusing.
