Rear sight for Ruger Scout Rifle

I use mine as a backup sight. I use a scout scope from leupold; it is fast to acquire and shoot the nuts off a dead fly accurate

I'd be interested in what you find and how much of an improvement it is from the stock sights.

I'm not getting any other options for a rear sight. I may have to try a scout scope. I will post results after testing. Thanks

Have you looked at the full length rail from XS? It uses their ghost ring rear since in replaces the factory rear sight. I have had good luck with that aperture on some of the rifles I've built.
