Which is why I'm not a fan of Oregon using similar systems - the cheezy brown paper bag type temp ID is stupid. DMV is terrible to deal with - inept on a good day and completely useless most days. I HATE that they are mailing DL's out now - I've had my mail stolen a couple times and was glad CC statements and ID cards weren't in that batch of pilfered mail. DMV should be printing cards AT the field offices again. That was one cost cutting measure that made no sense. Much like oregon's Fraud By Mail, er, Vote By Mail nonsense. Lazy bastards can't go to the polling station - lets give them a month to vote and make it really easy for ballots to be stolen or filled out by someone other than the registered voter! Yeah, that's the way to win!
