not a fan of that model. But their wood model takes beretta 92 mags, looks much better and now that I know it exists, I'll probably buy one.
I hear they do have issues.. but it's a 9mm M1 that takes 92 mags!

They still make it and it looks DAMN nice. Of course can't buy them here which is probably for the best for me as I would surely end up with one. Some of them of course have to work but, they let WAY too many problems out the door. It would really be a bummer to get one of the problem children and be having to try to get it to work. Damn thing does really look nice to me though.
 
The whole faux silencer thing has always been a mystery to me too. They have many of the downsides (e.g., weight, bulk, change in handling characteristics, etc.) of a real can, but none of the benefits (e.g., noise suppression, flash reduction). They don't require a tax stamp and are generally cheaper, but what is the point? Does not compute. :confused:
I think it's called "larping"...
