But we Do have the highest murder rates per capita in the western, industrialized world.

That'd a real problem and no one should try to gloss over it.

Given the number of guns, it should be FAR HIGHER if the gun banners were to be believed. But even Michael Moore agreed that gun ownership wasn't the problem in his "Bowling for Columbine" bit of agitprop
