I believe it was in Shot Gun News a while back. A fellow took a
12 GA. Coach Gun and put 45/70 liners into the tubes. Then, he
used an eccentric collar on each of the muzzles to zero the POI.

When I was stationed in Hawaii I bought a 45-70 double made from a 12 gauge Stevens shotgun. The liners were soldered in. Boy, was that son of a gun ever heavy! The price was right though, and I had lots of fun with it.
