Crimp die uses 4 spots as shown to put a slight crimp around the mouth and helps hold the bullet better than neck tension alone. It's not a heavy crimp, just enough to keep that bullet secure when slamming into battery. Also helps increase pressures so you can burn less powder if reloading.
