I am looking to continue on a project that i started roughly 4 years ago. Back then I was working with a guy who pulled up a website that had raw barrels at a very reasonable price. Example: 22 cal barrel, 24" long (i believe it was 24" long), 1/2 inch diameter was right at $40. I know everything has gone up since then, but I am looking for something REASONABLE like that.

I want to say it was Green Mountain Rifle Barrel Co. but am not 100% sure. And after searching their website, their prices are much higher than i remember we found 4 years ago. Much higher than average inflation.

I have found a few "makers" of "precision" barrels, but i don't want a precision barrel (just yet). I am still prototyping.

Are there any enthusiast that can help me out and point me to a raw barrel maker/supplier that has them at REASONABLE prices?

Thanks!

*Mods: if this is in the wrong thread, please feel free to move. Thank you!

22 or 224? Twist rate? Open google, put in all parameters, hit search.

I quickly found Green mountain for 22lr based 1/16 24" green mountain for $99 on Brownells.

Mainly for 17HMR and 22WMR project(s). Raw and uncut is what I am looking for.

Thank you for the suggestions.
