I've come up with a few things I'm looking for:

#1 -- Hill People Gear chest pack. https://hillpeoplegear.com/Products/CategoryID/1/ProductID/182 -- (non-military looking)

#2 -- A spinning rod: 7' to 8' in length and 4-10# test line rating (think smallmouth bass - normal length handle/reel seat like a trout rod, not long like a salmon/steelhead rod). Preferably one that can be used in the estuaries on the coast (saltwater friendly...)
