rat hunt

    I was looking to do a rat hunt in eastern oregon soon. Does anybody know of a contact over there for a good hunt?

    The grass is tall now in most areas , I believe you missed the season i suppose if you find a field thats been mowed you may have some success

    They do cut hay fields a couple times a year.

    during a good year they will cut alfalfa fields four times.

    will they still be out . I heard once it gets hot they stay underground in a form of hybernation

    Hey Eldbillbo try Shooters services, 541-589-1621. Duane. He has 17 fields and hopefully can accomodate you. I did a shoot earlier this year with my son and it was a blast. He is a few miles south of Burns.

    The first cutting will be around the first week in June and is one of the best times to go.

    When it gets to hot they go into estivation.
