Just happened to think about this, have you checked, or replaced the batteries/battery, in your range finder lately? I normally use mine off and on during the year, but, just happened to try it just now. Dead battery, which could lead to a leaking battery. And, that could cause problems and ruin it. So, if you read this, give it a check, or just replace the battery just so it'll be ready when you need to use it. I know I'd hate to ruin mine over a battery leaking.

Old thread but still important. Not range finder, but my Viridian laser.

Got a new extended magazine for my p238, bought the Kimber mag for $20 at bimart. Pulled the p238 out of my pocket and the laser did not turn on. Batteries are only 1 year old, guess it's time to change them.
