I have now a little dog in this. Frankly I do not care that much about this thread. However ... what I find kinda curious is when I make a post based upon what I know, how long I have known it, how I know it and what I can positively add to this Excellent Forum, then just get discounted out of hand by somebody whom I do now know, do not need to know and have no desire to know who takes it upon himself to detract from my truthful statements. Detractions based upon what superior knowledge?

(overrun compound lengthy sentence) Yikes! Shame on me! :)

Cans are just cans. Many different types. Perhaps someday somebody with a lot of money and extra time will do a definitive scientific sound reduction test on all the many different .22RM suppressors. They might include Elite Iron products; they may not. Some cans work very well. Some do not. I use Aquila SSS 60 grain lead round nose subsonic ammo in the short barrel Ruger 10-22. 1X9 twist Bentz chamber SS BB 8" Green Mountain Charger Barrel. Works on the SBR Ruger just fine.

The Ruger action makes more noise than the ammo does.

Oh ... the garden monsters are so huge. Dangerous. Lurking. Snicky. Pack Rats. Rats. Mice. Moles. Gophers. Oh yeah ... lots of Gophers. A few Stinky Skunks. Sorry, no Polseen or Diagamooses. :) (Fictitious large dangerous space aliens) All Oregon State Laws, US Code Laws, And BATFE Rules And Regulations Apply. This statement means the stuff is legal to own and shoot in SW OR USA. Your local gun laws may very greatly. Be safe. Be legal. Cans are just mufflers for guns. Pop, pop, pop. Repeat.
