I have a quick question, I am traveling into Seattle this coming weekend, and plan on bringing a handgun.
I know I cannot carry conceal, but what is the quick and dirty of what I can do.
Lock it up somewhere? Trunk? Glove compartment? Hotel?
    Thanks, and Please.
BTW ( I have an Oregon CHL) which I know is worthless in Washington.

Yeah I'm lazy, don't want to have to look up all the laws.

What they don't know won't hurt you. I travel fairly often to Oregon.

You just need to have it unloaded in the car. If you have a loaded pistol in the car that is considered concealed carry. You may open carry a loaded weapon.

May I suggest that while you are in Washington you stop at a County Sheriff's office and apply for your Washington CHL??

Not sure about open carry in WA for non-Wa residents. There has to be someone you can call... SAF?
This is why I have a WA, OR & Utah Concealed license

i find the "unloaded in the car" thing ridiculous myself. when i cross the border, i drop the mag on the passenger seat, and then re-insert the mag as i leave my vehicle. and then continue to open carry. it seems a futile exercise.

MarkAd has it right. It must be unloaded in the car. Out of the car you can open carry.
