Well Murder backwards

If you are that easily distracted, sidetracked, obfuscated, Perhaps your own
thread, with a Topic heading of: "Why I complain so much in other threads"

Might be a Concept you could try out.
Meanwhile::::,,,

To judge exactly what material is succinct to a thread, may be beyond
the capacity of someone who uses a quote from a mirror in a Hollywood film for a Forum Handle.

One must certainly posit where you gained your insights.

Well, in an insane world, Controlled and Run by Hominids of the lesser
Intelligence,,, i concur greatly , that it was no surprise to me , that my
query would be met with hostility.

I would think that a thinking person would wish to see where this question would go.
If not for any other reason,,, then to satiate curiosity.

Rog' out and waiting for input on the query.

Read the forum rules. if that doesnt work, ask around for the definition of "thread hijack"

I wasn't being hostile.

Your command of the English language is commendable. However, anyone with any real insight and ability to judge what is or is not relative material to a thread, would know that my screen name originated in a book before it was ever a movie.

If you want to argue the relativity between a persons IQ and the originality of their screen name..I have no ground to stand on...you win

Sorry man
To explain a bit

In the OP's initial post
He mentioned the officer using what may be deemed a not so truthful
Probable cause for the traffic stop, and attributed that stop
to,,
The first officer's conversation being overheard wherein details of a car with loaded weapons , matched the description of the car they were in.

Ok, I am aware of ,,, how do i put it? certain technology.

What my above question has to do with this exact subject, would eventually become apparent only after we received some feed back from Honest
LEO's.
Then i engage them with facts the general public is unaware of.

I work in a manner that is not readily , nor easily discernible at first.

That however will most likely take a few pages to come to fruition .

Here as example, i will give the code name of an Operation that took place.

It is Military training at certain cities, of those cities law enforcement.

Military Trainers, Training Police officers.

the name of the Operation : Operation Archangel

One aspect of that training was what is referred to as:

RAPID FIRE QUESTIONING, AS USED IN INTERROGATION TECHNIQUES .

I assure you, if this goes far enough, you will begin to see the interwoven thread of it all.

Any Officer that is familiar with Operation Archangel, knows that term and now knows a little about me , or at least, can assume something about me and what i might know.

Seek out the term, google it if you care to.

I believe we have put it up on the net before and the page may still be in extant.

Hmmph... Slide, I was curious as to your interpretation of Redrum's screen name. I've been posting, and at times sparring with him, for many months now, and I always thought he was a fan of fine caribbean /central American red rum.... as am I. Old San Croix, Gosling, and Nicaragua's amazing Flor de Caña, (the 12 year aged version) to name three.....

I'd never considered to spell it backward, as it made prefect sense going forward.

In any case, I too thought it a bit tacky to take the name and use it the way you did.... best thing to do is pretend we're a bunch of folks sitting round a campfire swapping yarns, maybe partway through that bottle of Flor de Caña Red Rum.... and being careful to preserve the peaceful setting out there, under the stars, owls hooting in the distance, sweet smelling smoke, maybe a coy-dog ki-ying after what the owl is after.

I must say, though, you REALLY have my curiosity meter spiked well into the red zone (no rum this time) about this 4200 thing, and now the archangel bit. It does seem just a tad similar, at this point, to the Area 51 myth..... but, play on. We shall see where this tune takes us.

i reference the movie: The shining
Murder spelled transverse: redrum

Would you allow that this thread could possibly digress to a Conspiracy Nut
subject matter?

If so, i concur.

Better, as has been pointed out earlier, that to follow protocol maintains continuity ,, agreed?

The Area51 reference can and may at times be construed as attempt at
derogatory connotation toward my posting.
Agreed?

Ok, if agreed, and as you state, your interest is peaked, perhaps best for us not to engage on a field endeavoring of malice.

Though argument is the honest measure of most discourse amongst individuals, it is as well at times , disingenuous to flow of conversation in a desired speedy conclusion.

That stance being a given, is it not best we proceed as you pointed out?

To begin, Questioning and temporary confiscation, is part of the Main topic heading.

In an attempt to set expose' of the training involved that Officers of the Law are at meet with in this time, and as well to bring attention to little publicly known intelligence files garnished and contained within an information database, i at the first felt it best to invite said officers to give personal testimony in regard to those files Title headed as 4200.

If such be given and not avoided, i may proceed in a personal anecdote that others may find not only of personal interest on their part, but as well, may explain and even answer the Topic query.

In hope that this missive here can settle that part which was challenged of my point in posting my questions above.

Is it just me or does the grammar and tone of Mr. Rog's posts sound eerily similar to certain emails one gets occasionally from folks stranded in Nigeria who promise untold millions to you if only you'll wire them some cash to "help" get them and their millions out of the country? :s0131:

No disrespect intended BTW... :D

Thank you for the input

Perhaps best i open another thread with 4200 profile as the topic

i have noticed that when i bring up the subject of 4200 profile
with an LEO, i get a reaction from some of them that seems a little
well,,, not as though they are comfortable with the subject being discussed
by a Civilian.

BTW wichaka, I did not mean to drift the thread, i assumed the thread was pretty much at an end, a little spice to add was a good idea i thought.

Thanks Guys

:s0131:
Is it the topic?... or the tin foil hat that makes them seem uncomfortable?:)

Getting back on topic...I do respect the officers right to safety and their "title" but also love the constitution and my rights. I will almost always take orders from an officer unless I believe that they are intentionally or even unintentionally trampling my rights. I agree that because you have a CHL doesn't make you a good guy either does a badge in every instance. With that being said, I agree with JHM1969's statement "I do not feel comfortable being disarmed and you are unfamiliar with my handgun. It is perfectly safe in its holster."

in washington you are legally obligated to inform the officer who stopped you for whatever reason if you are concealed carrying. I don't agree with the fact that you have to temporarily surrender your firearm in oregon, it's my firearm and i would like to maintain control over it at all times.

I have mixed feelings on this. On the one hand, I understand the reason for the officers wariness. Antidote follows:

While working security at a major California casino, I personally disarmed at least 6 off-duty police officers. I stated my reasons "I prefer to not have to worry about you in your aggravated state". Main reason? Nobody likes being "bothered" and one more gun in the equation is one more than I'd like. Strictly a game of odds.

On the other hand, rights are rights. I understand the officers apprehension. I understand that your car matches the description of a BOLO vehicle. Those two things would be enough for ME to either ask for your weapons or be a **** of a lot more wary around you.

I disagree with your statements of "Tired" and "practicing safe muzzle control" only for the simple fact that you should always have the mental control over your weapon. Dead of night or not. This is sort of beside the point, and sounds like an excuse of why you were bothered by the officer's request.

Young cops sometimes have a case of "gung-ho." They like to be the only swinging dork on scene, and sometimes they make judgment calls that would not be made by a more senior officer. Also, you do not know the officers' background. Maybe he was fired at by a pistol holder during a routine traffic stop. We just don't know. In my opinion, it is officers' discretion during a legal traffic stop. It is also your right to refuse that request, as he doesn't have the legal right to do so. Turning a simple request into a long night might get your point across, but it does nothing for The Greater Good. It may sound like a "lie down and take what we give you" argument, but, it is what it is.

Just clarifying, that is not true. You are not legally obligated to inform. You are legally obligated to display your CPL to an officer upon demand.

RCW 9.41.050 said:
1(b) Every licensee shall have his or her concealed pistol license in his or her immediate possession at all times that he or she is required by this section to have a concealed pistol license and shall display the same upon demand to any police officer or to any other person when and if required by law to do so. Any violation of this subsection (1)(b) shall be a class 1 civil infraction under chapter 7.80 RCW and shall be punished accordingly pursuant to chapter 7.80 RCW and the infraction rules for courts of limited jurisdiction.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing - every page. :s0114:

Good info and I did learn a lot.

While my knowledge increased, my behavior didn't change. I admire cops who stop cars, often at night and often containing multiple persons, and walk up to them. I consider that dangerous. In the OP I believe the car resembled a wanted car.

I'm going to do everything I can to cooperate and to make the officer comfortable. I'm not giving up any rights when I do that imho. I'm not establishing a legal precedent or changing the laws which allow me to carry.

I'm making a personal choice to be a nice guy - just my way of exercising my freedom.

Thanks for the clarification cwegga, me personally, i would inform the officers straight out, that i carry a firearm on me(legally). I think in their line of work they have the right to know right off the bat, but thats just me.

I think the important thing is to think ahead so you are ready for the situation. I personally have decided that I won't inform unless asked but I haven't had to make that choice for real yet...:s0131:

One thing to remember for everyone is to decide what to say ahead of time. For example if I am informing I plan to say that I have a CPL and am carrying. I don't want to see what happens if I just blurt out "I have a gun!":s0112::s0114:
