I noticed that a gun control group (Gifford campaign) seems to have shared their email distribution with Mark Kellys campaign when he announced his bid for the senate. Just as many, and very similar sounding, emails begging for cash started flowing in to my spam box.

Is that illegal? Is it ok for a non-profit leader of a group to use the same list for their own personal campaign cash?
