I need to invest in two adult and one child gas/particulate mask but can't afford $100.00 a pop. Does anyone know of a local Portland outlet or reputable online source for these?
The filters should be available as well at a modest price.
BTW what happened to my feedback scores?
    Thanks, Will

How often do you need to replace gas masks? Given that they are made out of rubber (or whatever) that may deteriorate over time, how long can you keep them?

I've heard that the filters have expiration dates, but that's third party info. I would imagine that the masks themselves would be good as long as they weren't stored in exteme temps.

Mine in the military all had expiration dates. Nothing lasts forever except honey.
