I was reading through a thread somewhere and remembered these guns and could not remember the name.
Interesting loading arrangement, but rock solid from what I've heard.
Your's is a nice example.

Just LUV those neat old single shot .22 rimfires. I scarf up old Stevens boys rifles at auctions and gunshows whenever I can make a deal on those:



I thought this one was mis-stamped and actually supposed to read ".22 Short", but nope! It's a smooth bore:

Been mulling over using the .22 Shot smooth bore barrel and a switch barrel, with rifling, for a combo set. Here's one I finished up over a LONG winter:
