Q: recommended gunsmith for Trijicon HD NS install, North end of greater Seattle

I'm looking to install the Trijicon HD night sights on my Springfield XDm carry pistol, and possibly a Glock 19 too.

I can recommend Dave at Southridge arms. He is south of Seattle but since you are talking a slide or two, it's inexpensive to mail it to him. I and others I know have all had work done (sights, too) and everyone is happy.

You can purchase a sight pusher for cheap on eBay and do them yourself. I've done 5 myself since buying the $24 tool.

Have you checked out XD Man (xd-hs2000.com)? Installation is included if you purchase sights through the company or you can send in your slide and purchased sights to be installed for $25. James does a fantastic job -- quality work and fast turnaround. I just had the Trijicons on my XD(m) 9 replaced with XS 24/7 Big Dots.
