I read that the NK soldiers would rather commit suicide than be caught by Ukraine. They fear the repercussions of punishment of their country.

Sucks to be them, if they try to escape, Ukraine captures them for trade, and trying to escape is a death sentence.

The smart thing for Ukraine to do is to openly send captured NK soldiers to SK. That would really mess with them, the chance for freedom.
Just do it on the down low, I've heard NK will punish the families of deserters.

Oh, BTW, are NK soldiers also considered "orcs", or should a new derogatory term be coined for those "lesser" men who definitely chose their fate of free will?
Combat 101, its customary to call the enemy something derogatory. When they are shooting at each other in trenches, they Ukrainians are calling the Russians piders which is a derogatory word for a homosexual, the Russians call the Ukrainians hohols or something like that, not sure what that means. I haven't seen a videos of Ukrainians vs. N-Koreans yet so maybe they have a word for them. I'll circle back when I know more, my guess is they'll just call them a pider

Hohol ( except Russians really can't/don't pronounce a hard H ), really pronounced more like Khokhol is a Russian slur for Ukrainians. Doesnt really have a translation except to reference the traditional Ukrainian haircut. Somewhat similar to the word Polack in reference to Poles. Like "hey look at that Hohol ( dumb@ss Ukrainian)".

Kind of . It really gets back to the haircut. You can see it in Repin's "Reply of the Zaporozhian Cossacks " painting. Shaved head with the little tuft of hair on top.

Its hard to be taken seriously by your neighbors with that haircut.
