Putin gave the displaced Russians (Kursk has a population of 500,000) the equivalent of a $100 meal coupon each.. with no place to go and no prospects for the rest of their lives.
The plan apparently is for the Ukrainians to encircle the Russian city of Belgorod which itself has a population of 400,000.

in the early 1970's US nuclear weapons in Germany escalated to over 7000, and the Soviets reciprocated
tensions were High and I was stationed on a NATO base in West Germany with Nuclear weapons
as the unit Radiation Safety NCO, I spent many a day and night in the Nuclear Shelter on Ramstein
during one heightened episode, I spent a week in that Shelter in full lock down
I understand the tension NATO and Ukrain is feeling right now

I suspect the Ukrainians are trying to draw Russian resources from other areas. They may have a set up to destroy the Russian resources as they approach. Nice to see the shoe on the other foot.

Is this still a thing? I thought the polar caps had all melted and men were winning in the women's Olympic events while satanist transvestites were ruining the last supper. It was the end of the world for 3 minutes

I just read Ukraine has been purchasing Toyota hydrogen powered vehicles and old wrecked Tesla cars
they are converting the Toyota hydrogen fuel cell into a bomb and the Tesla power technology into a silent power source with no thermal emissions
they drive these silent drones into Russian encampments and detonate them
how innovative!!!

and they have a new guidance system the Russian's can't detect or jamb yet

600,000 dead orc so far. The Russians are really good at dying while the Ukrainians are getting better and better at killing.

my concern is that last year Putin drew a red Line
if anyone attack Russian territory, he would use Nuclear Weapons
well, Ukraine has crossed his Red Line using NATO provided weapons
I'm waiting to see how Putin responds to this
he promised the Russian People he would use Nucs in this scenario

There's a chance he uses a tactical nuclear weapon, however, there are significant reasons to think he won't.

1. Russia is more and more reliant on trading partners, Iran, India, China, North Korea, ect. These countries do not want the conflict expanding beyond Ukraine, they also don't want to disrupt the their economic progress (or in the case of North Korea, do anything that might destabilize their government which, arguably, the use of nuclear weapons would for a variety of reasons).
2. Russia would be using a nuclear weapon on a fraternal people. One of the reasons many Russian people are supportive of the invasion of Ukraine, is because they believe that the people of Ukraine (not JUST the land) are really part of the Russian ethnic identity and its existence is kind of just a quirk of the fall of the Soviet Union. They want to incorporate the region and its people back into Russia. That's one of the reasons why Russia refuses to call this an invasion and chooses to call it a "Special Military Operation." Russian news networks also go to great lengths to specifically denigrate what they say are "Nazi" troopers and political leaders, and NOT the Ukrainian people (though of course, there are far right elements in Russia that would take it further, but they are not the majority). It is likely that if the majority of Russian people understood the scale of the destruction, they would be more uncomfortable with what was happening there.
3. They would be using a nuclear weapon on a direct geographical neighbor, potentially on land they intend to occupy, this is a bad idea for a lot of reasons that I probably don't need to get in to.

Ultimately, it's certainly possible Putin could use a tactical nuclear strike as a show of force, but there's a lot that he'd be risking if he did so. Ukraine is kind of betting the odds here it seems like.
