I personally prefer the looks and feel of the Gen 3 guns. There have also been some reported reliability issues w/ the Gen 4 pistols. If you plan on carrying it you should put plenty of rounds down range and find out what it will feed reliably. As for assys, your should get some high capaicity G19/17 & G18 mags to go with your 9mm barrel while they are cheap.

The only things you really need are night sights, more magazines, more ammo, a holster and pinky extensions if you prefer a 3 finger grip. Thats what I've got. Some people like rubber grips too but I'm fine with it stock.
