That is a great price for PTR. My only issue with these is the fluted chamber really take a toll on the brass and makes it difficult to reload.

Not to mention when they go down or dislike a type of ammo.. They REALLY dont work.
    Fancy single shots.

Don't get me wrong when they work they work really well! And I love the way they handled the recoil of the 308 compared to other rifles depending on the type of buffer.
    But isnt that an FAL?

Won't adding a port buffer protect the brass for reloading?

    Yes... ish...

It is an L1A1. Look under his hand on the fore grip. There is only one slot visible. The wood handguards of FALs have three slots and the third would show around his hand at the back. The L1A1 had two slots and the second is obscured by his hand.

The gas block is open eared. That is an L1A1 feature as well (except for some rare pre-production FALs for the German BundesGrenzSchutz.

Also the Brits used L1A1s so I bet they had that prop lying around.

    Nice, good eye.
I myself have never played with either variant so I have no idea. But one day!
