PTAC uppers

Does anyone have any experience with PTAC uppers. Ive read a few mixed reviews. Has anyone experienced any failures with them. For $199 for an upper they look like a good deal.

I recommend them to everyone who is looking for their first ar build. They go on sale with optics, or bcgs all the time and so far I have not seen a malfunction of any kind. I have put close to 500 rounds through one personally, and have seen them shoot first hand much more than that. I would say the quality is on par with S&W sports, DTI, bushmaster, and other low end ar brands. They eat up steel cased ammo with no problems and they are accurate. Yes, the premium ones have better barrels but that is the only difference. If you are trying to stay on a budget you can't go wrong.
