Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought this breech was alleged in a lawsuit, as in a possible breech, but it has not been confirmed.

Anyway, this might explain why it was not more widely reported.

Hardly a month goes by that we are not notified that someone has had a data breech. When did I give them permission to not only keep my data but store it on a government computer? when did I give my Dr permission to share my medical info with the Government?

You didn't have to give permission. Congress passed a law. But don't worry, they guarantee confidentiality.

You signed forms saying so you just never bothered to read them. All of us click "accept" to terms of use all the time. Few ever read those pages of fine print before signing off. To opt out of all this would be possible but it would be a LOT of work. So almost all just click and sign and move on.

A possible scam a family member just related. A lady at the hospital says she misplaced her phone. "Can you please call this number? Oh, dear, it was right here all along. Thank you".

While it could be harmless, who knows what people can do with access these day. The family member said, they got a weird feeling after. Some times those gut feelings are right.

They just asked me for $2K! It was funny to see a photo of the bare land across the road and them telling me they have sat outside my house watching me. I refused to pay so if any of you see some comprimising pictures of me show up in your email, you will never be able to unsee them!

If someone sent me an email threatening to post video of me pleasuring myself if I didn't give them money, I'd send them a video of me pleasuring myself and tell them to send me money or I'd send them more videos.
