There is a posting over on the 1911 forum under the Wilson Combat board that some of you may be interested in. It appears as if the OP has gotten ahold of some Federal HST's (45 acp 230 gr) that have been excessively crimped...which is causing all sorts of feeding issues. A picture of the issue and the suspected lot numbers of the box are posted below but note that the OP isn't 100% certain this is the correct lot number. He apparently tossed the boxes prior to realizing there was a problem with the ammo...so he can't be certain. He believes this ammo was purchased approximately 2 years ago.

This is all very recent so there is no response from Federal yet. However, if any of you have any inventory of this round it may be worth a quick check. You should be able to pickup the excessive crimp visually. It's the round on the left.
