Good Lawdy MG, last time I saw her she was knee high to a June bug!!! They do grow fast right before our eyes don't they?
As others have stated, kudos to her and her parents. The Caveman clan wishes you all well.

On an aside, what others have opined of understanding what the ArmyNG promises and getting that in writing oftentimes requires an attorney.... Its that complex dealing with the military.

It all depends on the unit's end strength and whether they are concerned with the cost of sending another replacement soldier to training. I had to do some diplomacy in the 90's to get permission to leave my NG unit.
