Several protesters marching in Ferguson, MO on the 1 year Anniversary of the Michael Brown shooting pulled out handguns and opened fire on an automobile that struck and injured one of the protesters, and then sped off. The car was said to have left under a hail of gunfire. Police tracked down the vehicle, and discovered that it was driven by a woman, and that the collision had been an accident.
The protest marchers had gone out into the street, right into traffic, despite not having any permit authorizing them to march in the street. Police arrested no one in the incident, despite finding bullet holes in the woman's vehicle.
