If you look at the two main components in a "Bag", the fabric and the zipper, I'd be greatly surprised to see that many using US made product. The "Assembly" is probably considered the main component due to the labor costs here.

For all the Made In USA followers, how many drive cars or trucks made by Ford, GM, or Chrysler? In most cases the "foreign content" can be more than for Honda, Toyota, Nissan.
 
Perhaps we are overlooking something in our quest for Made In USA products. Even if they aren't made in this country, there are still US jobs attached to them. From the Longshoremen that unload the ships to the truck drivers that transport them to market. Warehousemen that store and reship the product to the Sales People that take our orders. What about the US companies that sell these products?

These are all JOBS here in this country.
