OFF is reporting that Rep. Post has been booted from the House Judiciary Committee. This committee was already stacked in favor of antis. If Rep. Post removal is accurate then we can expect them to run anti-gun bills through at will. Not good news.

Oregon House Speaker Shuffles Committees After Conduct Complaints

Edit: Looks like this is accurate news. The Dem to Rep ratio hasn't changed but Rep. Post's name has been removed and Rep. Duane Stark, R-Roseburg has been appointed to replace him.
We still have a chance at defeating some anti-gun legislation by convincing one other Dem on the committee in addition to Rep. Barker to vote no on the worst of the bills

House Rep Bill Post has been removed from the House Judiciary Committee. Post is one of the most committed pro-gun legislators in Oregon history. House Speaker Tina Kotek removed Post from the committee (the one that hears gun bills) for the crime of tweeting pro-gun messages on his Twitter account.
The Bloomberg funded anti-rights extremists considered his messages threats from "armed hate groups." You simply cannot make up something that absurd.
This is a raw abuse of power at at time when the Democrats in the legislature are acting like abusive bullies and trying to make sure their behavior is concealed.
Please take a moment to contact Tina Kotek and express your outrage at these abuses.
Take action here.

Time to start rasin' a little bit of he!! With your legislators... Hey, Hey, Ho, Ho, Tina Koteck's gotta go!!!!

So, let me get this straight... A member of the judiciary posted something in support of an element of the supreme law of the land and is being removed from the judiciary for it.

Sounds like corrupt people don't like laws.

Here's the tweet that caused it I think:

Twitter

I do not see anything in this tweet but encouraging a gun rights organization to meet with an anti gun group...

They are looking for any reason to stack the judiciary with those sympathetic to their unconstitutional laws.

Perhaps their fears should be realized and a revolt against the tyrannical government of Oregon should be initiated.

Conservatives and gun owners in Oregon have no rights and no representation in the state government. Without immediate change, Oregon will be lost, forever...

I would like to see Rep. Kotek recalled but since she won with 90% of the total votes in her district not much chance of that happening. Some antis are so well entrenched, it would be near impossible to budge them from office.

Northwest Firearms posted this information earlier today. I think you can put them on your watch list if you aren't receiving these notifications.

Bill was the one that had a voice on behalf of the 2A .and Oregon gun owners. Removing him from his seat is a typical Anti-gunner/Anti 2A move.

Alinskies "Rules for Radicals" in Practice in Oregon...

This happened just in the last couple of days here in Oregon, but the practice is something the gun control leaders practice routinely.

In short, Representative Bill Post (a staunch supporter of the 2nd amendment) saw that MomsDemand/Bloomberg were organizing a lobby day next Tuesday. So he sent a tweet to OFF simply stating "Be there, be ready!".

In a matter of just a couple days, it went "viral" and Post has been removed from the Judiciary Committee by Dem Tina Kotek. He did have one other tweet were he called a fellow dem legislator a "little cray-cray" (which he should probably try to not do, even if true).

Why was he removed? The "we just want to have an honest discussion" MomsDemand organizer immediately polarize and labeled the tweet as a call for violence, and leveraged it into something Kotek could use to punish Rep Post. Scrolling thru the comments you can see the unsubstantiated tweets role in from all sorts of people, mostly from out of state.

Maybe there needs to be a strong pro-gun showing at the state capital next Tuesday, you know, to let moms know we're not going to tolerate it any longer...

See, the socialist legislatures in Oregon have long given the anti-gun groups the advanced heads up of any goings on like commerce hearings and what not. While restricting that information to our side...

I continue to say, the Oregon State Capital building needs to be fumigated, while the vermin are in attendance...
